First Story Windows wants to make a difference in many lives.
We have a vision and wish to share it with you!

The Journey Map above shows a process for how First Story can operate. Despite still being in our infancy, we aim to leverage the lessons learned and make a repeatable and sustainable environment that positively facilitates change and development. You can see how someone enters the program and develops to become a role model for others. Obviously, there are many steps in between. We are now at the stage where we are wanting to make others aware of First Story and grow it. The next steps are to create the support organization capable of supporting existing and future business. Our vision is to significantly impact Kansas City's homeless problem and ultimately see First Story implemented in our cities across the country.

We believe that a solid vision begins with and is strengthened by Core Values. Core Values are the compass by which we operate, behave and engage others. The First Story Windows Core Values are:

Accountability and Integrity - We do what we say we are going to do and are accountable for our actions and results.
Respect for Others - Everyone deserves respect regardless of the circumstances. We treat others as we wish to be treated.
Perseverance - It is not easy to always put one foot in front of the other, but we try no matter what obstacles are in our way.
Inspiration - We believe that if we set the example and lead by doing, others will be inspired to do the same.
